This is a natural oil that is extracted from flax seeds. Suitable for all kinds of wood except oak. Boiled linseed oil gives a natural water resistant finish that darkens with age. For use on wood I find the best application method is to rub into the wood with a clean cloth making sure to work with the grain. Apply between 1 and 3 coats until desired finish is achieved. Boiled linseed oil has added drying agents to improve drying time.
